Here’s the Crucial advert I did for the January edition of Ride UK. To mark their move from the old shop to a new one I decided to draw a ‘Transit’. Get it? Ha. It turned out pretty good I think, fun to make too. Seems like the new shop is going really well too. [...]

Title: Clavicle
Client: TWOAND8 / Crucial BMX
A pen/ink and digital drawing of Pro BMXer Levi Rogers and his broken collar bone. Ironically the week this went into print for Ride Magazine, I dislocated my own collar bone from my sternum (Sterno-clavicular dislocation). Go figure.
This is an illustration of BMXer Levi Rogers. Hand drawn with a mixed media and digital composition. It was used in a printed advert for a collaborative advertising campaign between my own brand TWOAND8 Clothing and Crucial BMX Shop.
Following on from the Retro theme of artwork for Profile Racing came a cleaner and more refreshing series of adverts. Still using retro fonts and influences this series combines them with hand drawn elements and graphic devices in simple, open compositions.
These illustations are of the legendary James brothers. Well known for their antics in the bike work aswell as for their love of beards. Mixed media
These are part of a series of printed magazine adverts for a collaboration between Crucial BMX Shop and my t-shirt brand TWOAND8.
To mark their 40th anniversary, Profile Racing asked me to produce a series of printed adverts to mark the occasion. I went with a retro styling based on a bunch of old custom car magazines from 1968.
Profile are a Florida based bicycle (and hotrod) components company.
A selection of illustrations used by The Extreme Sports Channel. Used in adverts, on t-shirts and for event marketing.
