Couldn’t sleep so I browsed the LIFE magazine’s image library thats now hosted by Google. Most of these images weren’t published and according to Google, sitting in dusty boxes, so they’ve been liberated to be enjoyed on the web.

There’s some amazing shots on there from some pretty interesting times. Good source material for illustration. Here’s some I was liking while half awake.
