Rich and I put together a simple but effective website for the Rider Owned Stores movement. BMX is pretty much our bread and butter so it was good to be able to put a little something back.
The site is designed to help out those independent, rider owned and run stores in the UK who put so much into our scene and industry. Its basically a directory of shops by region who are keeping it real. Big corporate shops and web stores might sometimes get the best prices but they don’t often contribute to the lifeblood of the scene in the way that rider owned indies do. I’m not going to rant about it but if you’re interested and want to find out more about the issue please check out the site and see for yourself.
As well as the store directory, the blog has a feed from several of the shops listed so its a sort of one stop blog for BMX store news.
Talking of Crucial, I did this web banner for them to go on the ROS site.
