This months Profile advert I designed just dropped in Ride UK. Features the Mulville Stem (which I run and love), and a photo of the man himself by Rob Dolecki
Just spotted this on Deluxe Wild!
I’ve just added the illustration work I did for Gaymers Cider to my portfolio. The good people at robsondowry asked me to do a series of drawings for the Gaymers Cider brand. Its for their summer music and festivals campaign. This stuff is beginning to turn up now and you’re likely to see it on product packs, at festivals, etc. Pretty stoked on the project. It was fun to do. Pretty loose and fast work. See more of the work on the portfolio page.
Josh Keys work gets under my skin. My favourite painter right now. Beautiful, genius, sad and haunting.
I took this clip of Freddie the Fox a couple of weeks ago. Kung and Homer where taking photos of him eating piri piri sausage. I think he thought my iphone was sausage flavoured too cos he was looking like he’d snatch it from me. hah. So rad to get so close to him. Bloody lovely.
Here’s a few photos from last nights chill down the woods and a clip of Will Herrmann screaming through BF to an almost heal clicker exit…
I laid out this ad for Profiles sister company Madera for the May magazine drops. This ones from Dig 76
Here’s the Dusted Purple advert I designed for Profile. Sweet Dolecki photo of Jeff Klugiewicz. That dusted matte finish on the product looks so good. My bike looks dusted at the moment too but thats trail dirt.
This advert I designed for Crucial BMX just dropped in the latest Ride Magazine (140). The photo of Levi (Rogers) was taken by Scott (Summerhayes) while they were on a trip to Malaga a few weeks back.
Rich (Homer) snapped off a couple of photos of me and Will (Davis) down the woods last night. Chilled little session
Loving Scotts photography work right now…
I forgot to mention it was 30yrs ago yesterday (18th May 1980) that sadly Ian Curtis (Joy Division) passed away. His work is a big influence on me so I thought I’d mention it.
“A Change of Speed, a change of style.
A change of scene, with no regrets,
A chance to watch, admire the distance,
Still occupied, though you forget.
Different colours, different shades,
Over each mistakes were made.
I took the blame.
Directionless so plain to see,
a loaded gun won’t set you free.
So you say”. – Ian Curtis. New Dawn Fades. RIP
