Thanks to Pete Day for sending this flick over to watch. Good, inspiring stuff. Makes me wanna fire up a compressor and paint my frame. Leather work looks fun too. Cheers. SFK

Another trails flick from Villij. This time courtesy of Anthony de Ville and seen this morn on Deluxe. So good. Wish I was at trails this morning but hey, I got adverts to design and drawings to draw. Fingers crossed the weekend will involve some dirt.
A couple of BMX Mags are out at the moment sporting the latest Profile ad I’ve done. The photo’s of Jeff Klugiewicz taken by Rob Dolecki and the featured product is of their classic Profile Racing Mini Hubs

The dudes at Sideburn have produced a die-cut sticker I made up from my Rollerburn poster artwork. Its free while stocks last with every order from Sideburn. Sweet

Ride UK 157 just popped through the letter box and is sporting this advert I designed for Profile. The photo is of my long lost buddy Craig Stevens whom I miss terribly. He’s now in London drinking shandy instead of what he knows best. Cider.
A few Motorcycle video’s brought to my attention by Pipeburn. So good….

In other news, I’ve started a new illustration project for a MAJOR client thats gonna keep me busy for most of the next month. Exciting and daunting at the same time but I get to draw pretty much everyday
Spend most of the weekend actually doing BMX stuff. Riding dirt mostly and digging / hanging / cooking Pizza at the woods with my bro’s. Good times. Of course being with my girls was awesome as always too.
Its a sad day for us all. The world has lost a true visionary and someone who managed to change our world for the good. I think everyone in the design industry will be particularly gutted that we’ve lost Apple’s Steve jobs. His work and inspiration has meant that our jobs are fun and easier to do, leaving us to concentrate on the creative rather than the technical. As well as all the macs and other apple products I’ve had the pleasure of owning over the years, the iphone has to be the most amazing product I’ve ever bought. It literally is the stuff we dreamed and talked about in the playground back in the early 80′s. All my music collection in my pocket? Video? Phone? Games? Apps? Internet, WTF!! Its even lasted longer than any phone I’ve ever had to boot (I’m still running a 3Gs without any protective cover and its works as good as the day I got it) Blows my mind what an achievement it is.
But Steve jobs is more than Apple, there’s alot more he achieved in his life and he’s a real inspiration to me and no doubt everyone else. A great man.
“What a computer is to me is the most remarkable tool that we have ever come up with. It’s the equivalent of a bicycle for our minds”. – Steve jobs RIP
I’ve just updated Sideburn’s Rollerburn poster with some new details ands sponsor logo’s. Its shaping up to be a sick event. Cant wait!
