I’m almost positive the bike in the picture is the infamous Vincent Black Shadow from hunters book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

He did indeed have a 650 Lightning. The Bike in the picture is a pre Unit Triumph of some kind I would guess. Tank is definitely a Triumph.
