Big congratulations to Kelly Slater who yesterday sealed his 11th World Surfing Tile with the ASP World Tour. Unbelievable.

I went to a job interview when I was about 23 (1997), they asked me to name 2 heros. I said David Attenborough and Kelly Slater. He (Kelly) had just won his 5th World title or something and was still only 25. I was blown away. So stoked to think he still cuts it at 39 especially as I’m 37 tomorrow myself and you know, feeling a little sad about the passage of time. Seeing this little video of him wakes me up and makes me think every moment should be seized, not lamented. LEGEND! Well done Kelly, long may you reign.
