An illustrated collaboration between myself and Profile Racing to celebrate the life of our great friend and legend, Craig Stevens.
Craig was sadly killed in March 2023 while working as a volunteer firefighter with Muriwai Volunteer Fire Brigade in New Zealand. His colleague and friend David Van Zwanenberg also lost his life in the same incident, a landslide while they heroically tried to help residents caught in flooding.
Craig was a force of nature himself and died in action doing typically heroic Craig things. He was an incredible BMXer, friend, husband, son, father, firefighter and a hero. I’ll miss him dearly but feel incredibly luck to have had Craig in my life for so long. I’ll never forget him, Craig Stevens Forever! Love you mate.
